In a couple of weeks time, the Royal Hospital Chelsea will be opening its doors for the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show! Taking place between 21st and 25th May, the Chelsea Flower Show is one of the most prestigious in the world and offers visitors the chance to be dazzled by wonderful floral and horticultural exhibits. Discover rare flowers and plants, wander through show-stopping gardens, and sip on a refreshing botanical cocktail… things couldn’t be more quintessentially British!
The show attracts more than 150,000 visitors each year, including the Royal Family. The world-renowned event is expect to sell out quickly, especially with the news that the Duchess of Cambridge will be co-designing a garden, so be sure to book your tickets in advance.
If you’re not able to make the show itself, do not despair! Alternative flower shows in the local area provide such wonderful delights and truly brighten up our streets with displays and activities. Keep your eyes out and cameras at the ready for Chelsea in Bloom and Belgravia in Bloom where lots of shops will also be running special events alongside their gorgeous free flower displays.
The Pimlico Grid will be open for breakfast, brunch and dinner throughout the Chelsea Flower Show week. We are a 15 minute walk or an even shorter bus ride from the main event, so the perfect stop to either start or end your visit to the show!
